No coding, no API keys, no Zapier. This quick setup connects the tools to your own GoHighLevel session, right on your computer.
Click below and choose Add to Chrome, then confirm.
Then pin it: click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin Stacked Workflows so it's always one click away.
Click the Stacked Workflows icon in Chrome, paste the license key from your welcome email, and hit Activate. That's a one-time thing.
Download the add-on:
Download Stacked Workflows for Claude →
Download didn't start? Use the built-in copy below - it is the same file.
Download Stacked Workflows for Claude →
Then install it in Claude Desktop: open Settings → Extensions → Advanced settings → Install Extension, and choose the stacked-workflows.mcpb file you just downloaded.
On a Mac you can also just double-click the downloaded file and Claude Desktop will offer to install it.
That's it. Everything it needs is built in, so there's nothing else to install (no Python, no setup). You'll see "Stacked Workflows" appear in your tools.
Updating from an earlier version? Quit Claude Desktop completely first - Cmd-Q on a Mac, not just closing the window - then install. Installing while it is still running leaves the previous add-on alive alongside the new one, and the two compete for the same local connection.
Click the Stacked Workflows icon → the gear (Advanced) → turn ON "Connect to Claude." If Chrome asks to allow a local connection, click Allow (it's local to your machine, nothing goes to the cloud).
Then open your GoHighLevel account in a Chrome tab and keep it open. That's the whole trick. While a GHL tab is open, your connection stays live and refreshes itself. You never copy-paste anything.
Open Claude Desktop and just ask. For example:
Try these:
New builds save as drafts you review. Claude only edits a live workflow when you ask for that change to go live, and GoHighLevel applies the whole edit or none of it. Trigger changes on a live workflow apply straight away.
Your GHL session refreshes about once an hour. Just refresh your GoHighLevel tab in Chrome (with "Connect to Claude" on) and it reconnects within a few seconds. Keeping a GHL tab open avoids this entirely.
Everything runs inside your own logged-in session, on your own computer. No API keys, no Zapier, no data sent to third parties. The link between the extension and Claude is local (127.0.0.1) and only your extension can use it.
The Claude add-on sends us anonymous bug reports when one of its tools fails, so we can fix bugs fast. No GoHighLevel data, id or token is ever a field of a report; the short error text, and anything Claude writes in a report, is filtered before sending on a best-effort basis. To switch them off: Claude Desktop, Settings, Extensions, Stacked Workflows, then turn off Send anonymous bug reports. What is sent.
